Why is the dissemination of medical information with respect to ferrets so
difficult? I know this is an area of constant research in human medicine
and in the sciences in general. Is this difficulty something unique to
ferret medicine or is it a problem with all 'pocket pets'? Is it that
there is a lack of formal research, a lack of publications in 'prestigious'
journals (ie: journals more likely to be read) or is it something else?
I'm not sure anyone here can truly answer this question but it has been
something on my mind of late. Of any group of peoples, your combined
experiences may lend for some unique and insightful ideas about this
difficult problem.
