Okay, here's a strange one...

For about a month now our ferrets have been ROTATING their litter pot
usage. One day they will almost entirely use one certain pot for feces,
the next day one of the other 4 large pots we've go in the big cage, etc.
There might be one turd misplaced in each other pot, but they actually have
been having a daily pot and will madly dash through the cage to get to that
day's assigned one. It's madeupkeep MUCH easier so we REALLY hope they
keep on doing it!!!!! Now, when they are outside the cage it's another
story...

I'm making yet another extension for their cage, BTW, and found INCREDIBLE
wire cutters available by mail order from Modern Farm in Cody, WY. (I used
to prospect near there in Powell (Yep, I knew Beryl's family, including
skunk.) and Worland (sp?) many, many, many years ago...)

Some wonderful news: six year old Meeteetse is healing very well (though
she's popped up another large mast cell -- this time just over a shoulder)
and will be able to rejoin her friends and live a normal life starting
tomorrow (Saturday). The growths were exactly what were expected: adenoma,
insulinoma, and mast cell, but if luck holds (since the surgeries were done
well) at her age she won't have a reoccurance unless she makes it to a
nicely old age.
