I am glad to report that the panda ferret lost in Reisterstown, Md. was
found later that afternoon under the porch in the neighbor's back yard so
he didn't go far even though we searched all over that yard.......guess
he was sleeping at the time and when he did wake up out he came, fit as a
fiddle!
 
Thanks for all the advice everyone sent me...I will relay it all to my
neighbor in case this happens again
