I've a friend who's considering the purchase of a ferret
 but needs to know the answer to a question...
 
 She is alergic to cats (fur/dander) but is not so affected
 by dogs.  So is a ferret's fur/dander more like that of a
 cat, or more like that of a dog?  Anyone care to speculate
 on whether or not she'd be affected by a ferret?
 
 (Yes, I'll probably take Milo over to her house to play so
 that she can get a good snoot-full...) :^)
