Hi there all!

It's so funny to hear people saying "gee, my ferret doesn't come when I
call". Two of my guys, Gushi and Buster, know their names and *usually*
come when I call. Nik, though the smartest, if you went by just that, you
would think he's dumb as a brick. He rarely bothers to look in your
direction let alone come. I know he knows his name BUT I think ferrets are
sorta like cats in that they'll come if they feel like it. Geisha is
starting to know her name, and she will sometimes come - I think I confused
her at first calling her Short Stuff or Sweet Stuff alot when I got her.

As for nicknames - see above for Geisha - aka PudgeBunny <Hey, I'm just
pleasantly round!!>. I also use the general terms of 'you little rat' (when
whoever is being a major brat),fuzzybunkins, weinie, little shit (see
above!), fuzzibuns, bony butt (just Nik - he's healthy but has such a skinny
bum!), and just for Gushi, the eldest - old man. Whew! I'm sure I use
other names as well, harder to think of them when you don't have the little
fuzzies in front of you.

As for peanut butter, my boys love it!!! Geisha seems to like it too, but
it doesn't like her. I gave her a little lick of it and about five minutes
later, she was spitting it up (YUCK!!). I tried one more time about a month
later with the same results and decided no matter how much she begs for
some, she just ain't gonna get it - just too gross!!!!!!

Norma-Ann Mooney - How's the recruiting for SOFA going?? I just thought I'd
mention that I've circulated your flyer around abit. One problem though -
your name isn't on it anywhere. I don't know if you did that intentionally
or not, but it may be nice if people have a name to address their letters
to for the club. I wrote your name at the bottom of the page that I left at
my vet's office (hope that's okay).

Anyways, that's about it for now - happy bouncin' all!

George and her tribe!
