I was at a nearby Barnes and Nobles bookstore tonight and was looking
through the general animal books to see if there were any new ones on
ferrets. I found one that offered info on small animals. It had a very
small section on the ferret. It said ferrets are a mediocre pet, because
of their intense curiosity. It also said that Meow Mix was a good choice
of food or any brand of dog or cat. I wish I had looked at the copyright
date to see how long ago it was written. It's a shame that there is still
misleading information out there for new ferret people to get a hold of.

I did find a good source of ferret info. I picked up Issue 16 of Modern
Ferret. I need to get busy and send in my order for the issues I have
missed. The only stores that carry this magazine are about 1 hour away so
I have missed issue 15 and a lot of the older ones.
