Bulldog ferret refers to a body type or build of a ferret. I don't
hear the terms used very much online anymore. I do still hear them
occasionally in person however. The terms I've heard are:

whippet -- very wirely, sleek builds, and narrow faces
standard -- just what it says
bulldog -- very stocky, shorter legs, tail, broad face, heavier

I know long ago some breeders actually tried to breed for these different
body types as different people liked different types of ferrets. I still
refer to these terms when describing a ferret to someone so they can well
imagine its look aside from markings and coloration.
