What evidence do you have that ferrets from small-scale, independent
breeders aren't just as likely to die of cancer as ferrets from large,
commercial breeders?  Is the evidence fragmentary at best?  In the United
States, isn't it likely that the initial breeding stock of a small-scale
breeder comes from the same lines as that of a large-scale breeder?
