Ferrets at Heart would like to announce our Adrenal Disaster Raffle.
For a small rural rescue, having four confirmed cases of adrenal
disease and one suspected case out of our current crop of rescues is
a true "disaster." One of the two who do not exhibit symptoms of the
disease at all just had surgery in May to remove her left adrenal
gland and debulk her right, because she was affected at that time.
That leaves one - just one with absolutely no sign of adrenal, and
he's blind. Did we mention one of the confirmed adrenals is
partially-paralyzed? It is just one of those days/weeks/months for us.

We've got "lemons," so it's time for "lemonade!" That means a raffle to
raise money to help our furry angels go to the vet to get treated for
their adrenal tumors with implants that will pause or, at least, slow
the tumors' growth. If we are truly blessed, the youngest of the
adrenals, who has not yet reached his third birthday, will be able to
have surgery to remove his tumor.

Ferrets at Heart has gathered sponsors to create seven prize packages,
