Hi, I'm in the computer/ferret room monitoring 'Chopper who has just had her
first dose of Digoxin. No signs of nausea, so that's very good. Her
resting heart rate at home had gotten up to 180 and she fainted again last
weekend. Basically, there is very little room in her ventricles any longer
so her heart is trying to compensate. If she tolerates the Digoxin it will
improve her quality and quantity of life. Now she is on her furosemide,
Enacard, Digoxin, Viocase (different problem) and tiny amount of potassium,
plus AD for extra calories. She's STILL the boss of everyone here, though,
and quite the dictatorial old lady.
