If I understand correctly convience ferrets are the ones from pet
stores that are neutered and descented at a very young age.
If this is true then I think none of our kids are convience ferrets.
 
T2 (tee-square) - found male sable ferret
neutered and descented at 9-12 mo died age 5 (vet-kem flea control residue)
 
Phoebe  - found female sable ferret
neutered and descented at 8 mo.  died age 6 (unknown cause in her sleep)
 
Maudi - free to good home female sable ferret
neutered and descented at 8 mo.  The Boss and goin' strong at 4 years old
 
Bennet  - free to good home albino ferret
neutered at 18 months  goin' strong at 5 years old
 
Bryn  - sable neutered female from ferret rescue organization  (not descented)
2 1/2 year old (second in command)
 
Toby - sable neutered male from ferret rescue organization  (not descented)
4 years old and a huggie bear
 
Bobbin - sable neutered male from ferret rescue organization  (not descented)
3 1/2 years old and rowdie.
 
All 5 kids eat Science Diet feline maintainance. For a bed time treat they
get Nutrical. They also get Nutrical to distract them for nail clipping.
They all get a bath with VIP flea shampoo every 3 to 4 weeks (Toby gets
Nutrical during his bath 'cuz without it he tries to eat the suds)
