I called the Louisiana dept of Fish and Wildlife.  They did not know of
any anti-ferret regs in LA.  They said to check with the dept of agriculture
as well.  They did not know of any anti-ferret regs.  The woman I talked
to (hildegard? I have the number at home) did think that some parishes might
have some weird regs (like banning keeping of hedgehogs?), but she had not
heard of any anti-ferret parishes.  Did any one else check this out and
come up with anything?  The people I talked to were very pro-ferret.
