Hello everyone,
My name is Debbie and I live in northern California.  I absolutely adore
ferret's.  I'm involved (almost to the point of insanity) with the current
effort's to legalize them.  I have read every book I could buy,beg, borrow
or steal written about them.  I have also visited almost every web site and
have downloaded thousands of pages about them.  The one topic I can't seem
to find information on is "shows/expos".  There are literally hundreds of
us who want to go too one of these events.  I found out from Hildy at
Ferretware that she attended one in Reno, Nevada in 1992.  so far I havent
been able to find out if this is a yearly event or if it was a one time
deal.  The event was called " ferret expo west " .  I sent an e-mail to
Hildy several days ago inquiring about the status of this show, but as yet
she hasnt replied.  I also havent been able to find any clubs or shelters
in the reno area on the web.  If anyone has information on this will you
please e-mail me or post info here on the FML.  Any upcoming shows in
Oregon would appreciated also....
