Dear All,
As we move into the holiday and the end of the year, I want to thank
you all for all the great support you gave me and my shelter this past
year. Seems like only yesterday I opened Rocky's, 1995... years later
the internet came....then there was the FML. The FML is still the best
way to network to the heart of the ferret community, and so here I
humbly approach you all for help. I need to find homes! [The FML was
around way before 1995! BIG]

What would Christmas be without a 20 ferret rescue? I've got 20 ferrets
that are from a pending divorce case, they are not neglected, but in
need of immediate rehoming. The point of origin is Richmond, VA. We've
got shelters and homes offered through Maryland and Pennsylvania. If
you're anywhere north of Richmond, Va, and willing to open your heart
and home to any of these ferrets, as well as abide by a home visit,
please contact me. I've got bios on all 20. We currently have shelters
that we're working with, but if we can work these kids directly into
homes, it will be all the better for them.

These ferrets are being visited by Stephanie Richmond, from The
Washington (DC) Metropolitan Area Ferret Outreach and will be assessed
and CEP/ADV tested, along with being vac'd for distemper. I want to
thank the good folks at FACT for donating the distemper vaccines.
There's a terrific back story as to why they do this, read here:

Thank you all! Merry Christmas!

Affectionately, Barb Clay Dir of Shelter Affairs Rocky's Ferret Rescue
and Shelter Parkton, Maryland
