My (Aussie) ferrets would have a heart attack if I shoved them into
burrows or made them do anything you "Brittish" ferreters do.
 
My lot are perfectly happy being "cosseted powder puff pets" who sleep in
my chest of drawers and wander around the house with my cats and German
Shepherd.
 
Please don't assume all Aussie ferrets are like yours.
