Thank you for all that responded about the so called "blood blister" on
Hobbes.  As it turns out, according to my vet, what he has is a cyst.  We
have drained the cyst and it comes back in the exact same spot.  She
recommends surgery to remove the cyst.  I did mention the notion of it
being a mast cell tumor and she said it didn't look or feel like a mass
cell tumor.  I do trust this vet as she has 3 fuzzies of her own and has
been owned by ferrets for many years.
