Not firing to anyone, but I too have seen the pet show.  The lady you are
seeing is Terri Flynn AKA Wiltchuck.  She is the founder and director of the
longest running ferret shelter in Ontario, Canada.  This show was OLD and we
all learn as we grow.  You were never always ALL knowledgeable, and either
was Terri.  She is very knowledgeable now both in ferret care and
naturopathy.
 
As far as the ladies 3 year old being more knowledgeable, I agree that back
then, Terri didn't know too much, but her heart was defiantly in the right
place and at the time, she was the only shelter around here.
 
Please do write the show's producer and tell them what you think.  I agree
shows that old should not be on the air especially when they are mis
informing the public.
 
So please people, be kind to the shelter mom Terri.  She works hard and
loves all her ferrets.
