Thank you for the info on the SOS, I have donated to them in the past
and they are a great orginization.  I am on several different mailing
lists/group chats and when I see the individual rescues in need of
money, I want to help.  But you are right, sticking with the SOS is the
best way to go, and like you said, you can request that your money goes
to a specific rescue.  So thank you for reminding me.
 
To clarify my last post, the supportive emails that I received agreed
with my concerns.
