Well, we are about to be parents again... temporarily. We are babysitting?...
no... mommie sitting a pretty little champaign jill, named Daisy, that is due
today or tomorrow. We are estimating that she will have 5 or 6 kits.

Her people have the ferret cart at the Texas Renisance Festival and will not
be able to be home when Daisy is due. And they certainly cannot travel with
her, as she could become so upset that she could kill the babies. They chose
to leave her with us, since we are the only other breeders in Houston. She
has been staying with us for a few days to let her get used to the new
environment before she delivers. The hob from this breeding is the same
palomino gold hob that is the father of 4 of our ferrets (all champions).

My wife and I are taking turns going home to check on her all day. She
stopped eating yesterday, so she is getting ready. But as of noon today, she
had not begun to show any other signs that she is about to deliver.

I am going on record with my guess, for all to see. I predict that she will
have 5 kits at 8:15 tonight. Results on Monday.
