I am a relatively new ferret owner ( 6 months) with two amazing creatures
Bob a 3 yr old male and Marmot a 2 yr old female, they are very loving and
playful. I am faced with having to take them with me on an 11 hr car trip
to North Carolina from Syracuse NY because I don't know anyone who can take
care of them. I just read the post rgarding taking water form home with me
for them to drink, which is definately something I would not have thought
of, but is there anything else that I should be doing besides providing food
and a litter box and a place to sleep on the way.

I have also read about car sickness so I will be on the lookout for any
signs of that and prepared to stop if any do show up, the image of a sick
little ferret foaming at the mouth is enough to make me slow down my trip.

Any advice to make this trip as easy as possible on them will be much
apreciated.

Just as an aside I bought my 2 from a private owner for a paltry $150
including a cage and food because he had gotten a rotweiller puppy who
coulnd't play nice.

I was only too happy to take them off of his hands and I have gotten more
than $150 worth of enjoyment out of them already and expect to get much
more.

Thanks in advance for any help
Mark, Bob, and Marmot
