Sarah, the Utah ferrets are/were a LARGE group of ferrets taken away
from a *collector* by Animal Control in Layton, Utah.  Many people from
shelters across the country (julie Fossa came from Ohio!) helped to get
these kids out of there.  Some were in such bad shape they didn't make
it, others needed surgery, most all needed good food, exercise, and most
of all love and attention.  The ferret community, led by TL Eckart & the
wonderful people at Support Our Shelters, made it possible to save these
guys.  Without their help I would have been overcome by the 18 I got,
both mentally & financially.  Kouri has a few pages on his web site with
pics of some of these kids.  We love them all.
