Hello all you fellow cross-stitchers,

It just so happens that one of my dearest friends is a cross-stitch
designer. She's working on a medieval bestiary right now (Toronto folks,
remind me the next time we get together to dig out one of her designs) and
plans to add a ferret after she finishes with the pattern she's working on
now.

I've sent her the URL for Ferret Central so she can take a look at bunches
of ferret photos. If you have any other requests or suggestions for the
design, please send them to me, and I'll forward them off to her in one big
email. She's done other patterns based on group input and they've come out
quite well.

On a related note, I continue to be amazed at how "ferret people" seem to
have such similar personality traits and interests. I was surfing the net
for mythology sites a couple of weeks ago, and what do I bump into? A page
belonging to Kimberly Burkhard! (Sorry, Kim, I think I just murdered your
last name.) If you've only been to the ferret sections of her web page, I
highly recommend poking around in the mythology part as well -- it's super.

At any rate, there will soon be another ferret cross-stitch pattern in the
works. Please mail any suggestions/requests to me and I'll pass them on.

Kind regards,

Kate Adlers
