I've heard about blue tails, or blue skin when a ferrets fur is growing in,
but until yesterday, I've never seen it. Our 6 have been relatively
healthy, so no surgery or adrenals that would cause fur to grow back.
However, one of ours, Salty, has always had tail acne. So she's never
really had much fur on her tail. She looked like a rat! Well we've been
really taking care of her tail to the point that there's no more blackheads
and finally yesterday, it looked like her tail was all black & blue! Upon
closer inspection, it was fur growing in!
