I know that someone on this board has probably built something similar.
I have a grand schema to build our own private ferret park in out
backyard. The first questions are how big to I want it to be ( at
least, at first). After mesuremnts and placement are decided, I would
think installing a containment fence would be next. The entire yard is
enclosed by 6ft chain link (but not ferret proof). What type of fencing
would be suggested to keep the ferrets in the play area. and prevent
escape. There won't be the threat of animals coming over the chain
link, except, the pesky squirrels

Very excited about some ideas!
