If *Whenever the ferrets wake up, they are attacked.* make sure they're
fully away & active & the kitties have been *worn out* a little before
letting the them play.

My Chaos is a bully w/the other fuzzies. So I let him out 1st w/his
favorite buddy Tuxedo. They run & play & wear themselves out to the point
that I can let everybody else out w/out them being picked on. I don't
understand why they can all sleep together in a perfect pile & not play like
good little fuzzies.

Descenting has nothing to do w/body odor - it's hormonal. Babies tend to
have a stronger odor & it usually fades as they get older. Does *I notice a
strong smell after a week* mean that you're bathing her every week? If so
it's too much & your efforts could be backfiring because her body is
over-compensating for the oils you're washing off. Also, ferret coats tend
to absorbe odors. I haven't tried it, but the *digging in the dirt* thing
sounds like a great idea for odor control. I use lots of clean old clothes,
changed regularly & my guys smell like fabric softener.

Please, always supervise all your little ones when they interact, especially
since Bambi is still nippy & your daughter is not comfortable w/her.
Accidents happen!

When is Bambi nipping? Is she nipping when she's being held because she
wants down, nipping your feet for attention, or is it when she actively
being played with & overexcited? You have to know why she's nipping to
address the problem.
