Anon, why do you make such statements but won't stick YOUR neck out
enough to even put your name to the post?  Are you some CIA Mole?
 
We all know that there are some folks out there that don't know how to
take care of animals but what was the reason?  Do these people who a
screw loose, probably, should we have a public hanging, no (you would
love to throw the noose around their neck I'm sure).
 
Should these people be banned from owning pets in the future , YES,
should these people get professional help, YES.
 
So pity these people for they don't know what to do .  My mother (the
Saint) has a strange problem that is similar.  She lives in the middle
of a large city in a house that is overplanted and looks like a forest,
people always dump kittens into her yard and she has to take care of
them, what is she supposed to do?  at one point there were about 30 cats
around there , she never asked for them , she never wanted them they were
forced on her.  She now catches them and takes them to the pound , it's a
death sentence but what would you want her to do , wait until there are
so many cats you need a pack of pitbulls to get rid of them.  Sorry if I
sound cruel but the cat crisis in this country is ridiculous.  We are
losing many native birds, small mammals and other wildlife to these
neurotic killers.  Of course the California fish and game thinks that if
ferrets were legal they would get loose and kill the same creatures, we
all know that is off base and basically STUPID.
 
BTW, Arnold Shwartzenegger owns ferrets , another reason to vote for
him....
