"Wolfy, I have never seen anything like you before" -- Robin

Well, I don't think that's true. Because according to Miss Downs ...
I resemble a nut job. She just never elaborated what sort of nut I
resemble. I'm still waiting to find that out. My all time favorite
description of me, has been "nucking futs". I like that. It's direct.
No nonsense. To the point. TRUE. But alas, notice the common
denominator? Once again, "nut" appears in the description. What is it
with nuts?! I truly hope you people are thinking about an adorable
peanut and aren't visualizing anything below the belt of a human of
the male persuasion!! BAHAHA!

Sucks for all of you, but I will always be here. Nucking futs as
always.

This FML community saved my ferrets more times than I count in so many
ways. They befriended me and shared the joy of ferrets, something no
one else in this world gave me. They guided me, even by phone, through
emergency care. I'll never forget when Julie Fossa, whom I hardly knew
at the time, stepped forward and went to the extent of contacting my
vet about one of my ferrets to advise them about different (and better)
treatments than they were giving one of Scott's boys at the time. It
saved his life .

They gave me real heroes when the term is thrown around frivolously
and no longer sacred. Like Kevin.

They welcomed my autistic son and his special ferret Rocky into open
arms. They helped "raise" him through that support and through their
own personal experiences as well. Once again, when nobody else did.
Today he is a troubled young man, he has no ferrets, yet I still get
support. I still get people asking about him. Even sending him a card
now and then. When Sean was little people went to the extent of giving
his very special brother attention and support so he'd not be jealous
when they were little. Later to give him strength in helping us with
Sean.

Best of all, what the FML members gave me that mattered most were
opportunities to help ferrets in ways I never dreamed of. I don't/can't
do much. I try to contribute a transportation, a donation, education,
whatever I can peppered occasionally over the years. Not nearly as much
as I'd like, and not nearly as much as of many of you. But one thing I
do hope I've offered you is friendship. And confidentiality. It's here
forever, if you want it. I hope I give you laughter when you need it
most. To give you that second breath when you are suffocating.

I'm not going anywhere until I am not longer welcome. I love FaceBook
and have made many ferret friends around the world that are not on
this list. But it serves a different purpose all together.

Well apparently I'm doing what I do second best, talking. So at the
risk of boring you, I'll wrap this up.

You're friendly neighborhood nut,

Wolfy

Ps, Renee I'd like to start over. And hear what the original post was
leading into.

Alexandra?  Rock on. ::high five::
