ferrets in desk drawers

My Shadow has suddenly decided that desk drawers are a great place to sleep,
too...  unfortunately, she has also decided that:
        1).  all that wrapping paper & tissue paper I keep in the middle drawer
would make *WONDERFUL* bedding if it was shredded into little bits,
   and  2).  there's simply too much STUFF in that drawer for her to be REALLY
comfortable (and hence, she's taken to shoving all of my stuff out of there!)
