Hello, I just started to get the FML.  I have contacted a number of local
shelters looking to adopt a second ferret.  I had heard from a contact that
a local (MA-CT-RI - NJ?) shelter is in the process of closing and over 100
ferrets were needing homes- but they are hitting snags.  The shelters I
contacted on the Cape (MA) didn't have any.  I haven't heard back from the
shelter in RI I have contacted multiple times.  I know that Connecticut
does have a number, but had hoped to help out by adopting one of the
closing shelter ferrets.  I may also be able to get a couple other ones
adopted as well.  Does anyone know which, if any, shelter is closing in
this area?  Loki would really like a friend since she is the only single in
a family of multiples (3 dog kids,
 
2 human kids, only 1 ferret kid, mom & dad).  Thanks a bunch,
