Hi, all! The threads about ferrets and dogs and stuffed animals
("stuffies" in my house) cracks me up.

When we got Slinky, our first ferret, he got hold of a stuffed mouse that I
had. It was about his size and he would drag it EVERYWHERE, under the bed,
into the bathtub, under the couch. Then he would wrap himself up around it
and SLEEP with it. It was so cute. But we decided it must be a *hint*
that he was lonely, so we ended up getting him a playmate (or 4).

Also, SLinky LOVES dogs! Loves to ride them, that is. He has been in
contact with two small dogs (a cairn terrier & a sheltie) and he jumped on
their backs and hung off their fur while the dogs spun around and yelped
and ran through the house trying to get the "monster" off their backs. I
had tears streaming down my face, I was laughing so hard. And when Slinky
met a German shepherd puppy, he tried to do the same thing, but the fur was
too short and smooth to get a good grip. HAHA!
