REMINDER:   CONTINUING VETERINARY MEDICAL EDUCATION
 
The American Ferret Association, Inc., in conjunction with PurevaxT
Ferret Canine Distemper Vaccine by Merial are proud to present An
Advanced Course - Management of the Ferret for Veterinary Professionals
to be held Saturday, November 8, 2003 at the Quality Inn Suites and
Conference Center, Rockville, Maryland, just 20 minutes from the nation's
capital.  This year's program is chaired by Mark Finkler, DVM, of the
Roanoke Animal Hospital in Roanoke, VA, and co-chaired by Sandra Kudrak,
DVM, of the Community Animal Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Speakers
include: Drs. David Crum, Scott Fausel, Charles Weiss, Bruce Williams
and Robert Wagner.
 
Along with diagnoses and treatment options for Oncology, Cardiology,
and Renal conditions, this year's conference will feature two panel
discussions on "Strategies to Prevent Endocrine Disease" (Adrenal Disease
and Insulinomas), in which ferret breeders, Vickie McKimmey and Sally
Heber will participate.  In addition, Dr. Bruce Williams will provide
updates on "The Diarrhea Dilemma" and the newest research on Aleutian's
