        As Dr. Weiss noted, pawing at the roof of the mouth is a sign of
nausea in ferrets.  I have seen many ferrets claw at the mouth following
vomiting.  I wish I could shed more light on this one, but I'm not sure why
- bad taste?  burning sensation from gastric acid?    I don't think that it
is specific for insulinoma, though...
