Choco sleeps too much

Hi,
I need some experienced info here, please.  Choco my 5 mon. old furr babie
seems to sleep All the time.  I'm not talking like 16 hours, I'm saying like
22 hours.  He does not live in a cage but has one.  We try to play with him
but that lasts for about 5 min if I'm lucky.  He eats and drinks fine.
Color seems good so I hate to run to the vet.  Should I be worried?  Help>
