Detmer has decided to worry me yet again.  His hind legs are starting to
give out and so off to the vet for blood work.  He's pretty old (around 6
or 7, maybe older) so I don't know about putting him thru surgery.  My
question is, how long do they live, on average, by just giving the
medicines?
