Hello...This is for Drew

Concerning the sand. Last summer my SO and I took our first two ferrets to
a lake. At first Havock and Johnny didn't know what to think of it but it
only took them about two minutes to learn to love it! We felt so bad when
we had to leave. Havock loves sand too much I think. If he is able to play
in it he does everything he can to bury himself in it. he actually digs a
hole with his front paws and then lays in it! It is so funny to watch. He
also pushes his head under the sand and then walks along as if he is a worm.
They both get so dirty that Johnny(who is white) looks BLACK and Havock has
sand boxes in his ears. Any way my SO and I can't wait till summer so that
we can all go outside and play in the sand boxes that our housing complex
has. Next best thing to the beach for them. We tie them on retractable
leashes and a lot of the kids come out to play in the sand with them. It is
soooo cute! We are wondering if Tasha (our newest addition) will love it as
much as they do. We think she will. Anyway...Drew, I don't know about
taking your ferret to a beach down in the States. Most of the beaches up
here in western Canada are not all that bad about letting ferrets on the
sand. Last summer we took Havovk to Kelona for 2 weeks and he got to swim
in Lake Okanogin. I wonder if he met oggo-poggo?
