I too have long hair (past my waist) and the kids seem pretty indifferent to
my hair. But the rubber bands, elastic bands, scrunchies, ribbons, and any
other chewable hair accessories are quite interesting in their eyes. I've
even woke up in the middle of the night to Squirt chomping on a rubber band
holding my braided hair (the sleep state for my hair) together. They have
also grabbed scrunchies and earrings when they are riding on my shoulders.
*Yikes!* ;)

Want something fun to do? Chase your kids with the horrible porcupine
monster (ie your hairbrush). I get them with the prickly part on the butt
to which they turn to bite/wrestle with it and get a prickled nose or paws.
This intensifies their interest in beating this monster into submission. Do
be careful to *never* leave your monster in their reach. They WILL steal
and kill it! ;)

Another option for digital pictures is getting still pictures saved onto
Photo CD. I know at least some of the photo finishers in town will put
still photos onto a photo CD for you. This definately gives you high
resolution images since the photo CD was originally designed to be looked at
on tv screens.

I don't how available these services are outside of this area since this is
Kodak's hometown, but this may be something to look into if scanners and
digital cameras just isn't doing it for you. (This is no endorsement or
plug for any particular product. It's just another digital option that came
to mind.)

-kim, squirt (I wanna be in pictures...), pippi (take a picture if you
can!), atlas (was in the centerfold in June's PlayFerret), and 'Jinx (our
little model who likes to pose)
