Is Plicatic acid - a volatile hydrocarbon what you were looking for?  I
think that was the name of the nasty in cedar shavings - not to mention
various turpines...
 
Regarding Dr. Weiss's adrenal movie - I wish I could afford it!  There is
not one single vet in the entire country of Israel that has ever done this
surgery and it would be a tool beyond price!  I am going to try and
convince the vet school, but won't hold my breath!  <sigh>
