Rebecca said that her cousin stepped on her ferret's toe and the ferret was
limping around for 5 minutes.  I did the same thing the other day.  I was
even shuffling around so as not to step on them, but ferret toes are so low
to the ground that I slid my foot on top of hers.  She squeaked, and hopped
away.  Every time I looked down at her, she'd limp - until I gave her a
raisin to make up to her.  She grabbed the raisin and took off at full speed
to her hidy hole - not a limp to be seen.  Great actress.
 
I'd guess that your ferret is fine, as long as she is walking normally now.
