Hi Ferret Fans,
I have seen four adrenal cases in three of my fuzzys and I am doing some
research on the UVB spectrum. I have already ordered Vitalite tubes but I
just received this note from a competitor found below in green;

According to an independent laboratory test the Vitalite output of UVB is
[0].990%, UVA output is 8.89% and Visible is 92.0% Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 UVB
is 6.020%, UVA is 32.90%, and Visible is 62.7%. I would be glad to send you
this report, either fax or by mail. If 1% UVB is going to work out for you
than we wish you well. We just want your animals to be getting the proper
amount of UVB. We do not know much about ferrets, but 1% for reptiles or
turtles is just not enough.

Any suggestions on the on/off time and the percent UVB needed would be real
helpful and appreciated.
