I hope it's not true that there is a ferret in a lumberyard that an owner
is giving up on finding.  I tend to be very suspicious of these posts, as
David has on many occasions posted about missing ferrets suddenly found
(in one case I believe even one posted as dead, then later said to be
alive).  If they are indeed lost, than I'm thrilled for them to be found,
but something just doesn't sound right with these multiple posts.
 
As for the stress factor that was stated as a reason for giving up the
search: I would find it far more stressful to know that a beloved ferret
of mine (any ferret actually!) was out own their own in the elements!
 
If there is indeed a ferret named Vinnie out own his own, I hope someone
that can care for him responsibly will search and find him.
