This is in response to the question as to why we are stressing what type
of ferret is to be gassed.
 
If you look back on our petition we did not state Angora, nor short
hair - just 800 ferrets - we did not feel that it should make a
difference as to what type of ferret was to be gassed.
 
Since the petition began, we have gotten emails saying that some people
were unable to support the petition as they did not believe in the Angora
line and it should not continue.  We were appalled that we had to go back
and define this and that there were less angoras then short hair ferrets.
 
As we have said, this is NOT ABOUT ANGORAS, it is about 800 ferrets that
are to be gassed.  No matter what the belief is regarding Angoras, it
does not have a place in this petition!
