I just want to take a moment to say, I have greatly enjoyed the time
I have been on the FML. I have learned so much and I am grateful for
the knowledge that you all share so freely. So from my house (filled
with 14 ferrets, two dogs, two sons and myself and hubby) to yours,
Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years.

A Ferrety Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas
And all 'round the tree
Were furry little bodies
Jumping all over me

The ferrets were waiting
To hear the tale
Of Santa's journey
To them without fail

The story began simply
With one curled on my lap
And me telling of Santa's
Bright red furry cap

The yawns became many
When the story was done
So I put them to bed
And spoke of the fun

The presents would jiggle
Or wiggle or squeak
But they all must now
Go to bed, go to sleep

In the morning the ferrets
Stood waiting for me
Their eyes said to hurry
They wanted to see

So off to the tree
Like a flash they all flew
Wishing Merry Christmas
And Happy New Year too
