Hi list from a lurker, sometimes poster, but ferret lover of four ferrets.
I will be moving in about a month to a bigger house than I presently live
in. One criteria for the house my fiance and I bought was a fuzzy room.
I know my fellow ferret lovers will appreciate that. My ferrets will have
a bedroom of their very own. They presently reside in my family room where
I can keep the door shut during the day when I am at work, and they can
also run and play during the day. My question to my fellow FMLers is this:
What type of impact will this have on them? Will moving stress them out?
What can I do to help them. I don't think I am going to let them run all
over this house as it is very big. It will also take awhile to get ferret
proofed. I do want them to be able to go some places. Presently, they
love the kitchen where they have a couple drawers of their own, they get
daily raisins on a shelf in my kitchen, and they have a food bowl and
water. I know they will miss running up the stairs after being let out
(unless you are Cocoa or Tigger who always gets up, sneaks out of the cage
and gets Mom up first), racing to the shelf to get raisins. I love it when
they are all four there waiting patiently for a raisin.

Thanks for the advice.
