I have a question for everyone out in ferret land.
This morning, as I was going in to say good bye to
our ferrets, I noticed that the female was chewing
on a rag. I kept calling her to come over, but she
was really into it. (This is one of her sleeping
towels). I finally pick her up and have to pull a
pretty big size portion out of her mouth before she
will even notice me. Then, I put her down and put the
rag up. When I walk by (about 2 minutes later), she
had gotton to the rag and started the whole thing all
over. Does anyone know why she is doing this? I fear
that she may gag and not know how to save herself.
I took the rag and put it in another room (hopefully
she can't get to it).

Thanks in advance,
Susan Benysh
