Hello Tom,

My family is now blessed with 6 ferrets, of which 2 are MF ferrets, 1 is
from a breeder and 3 are from a shelter. From my personal observation of
this mix we have, I see no difference in size, health, temperment or
activity. Each ferret has its own personality, and they all interact well
with one another. I have read similar articles pointing a finger at MF for
one problem or another, and have read an equal amount of articles written by
veteranarians that go on to say that there is no evidence of sub-standard
ferrets coming out of MF's. The one thing I have read is the fact that MF's
does breed ferrets and sells them off to lab's for medical experiments.
This is a personal issue for each individual to come to grips with, I will
not offer an opinion one way or the other.

I guess some folks just can't get off the comparison wagon, <Windows95,
OS/2, MAC is the best!!!!!>. Regardless of how we come accross our
companions, we all have at least one thing in common, " Cool Pets!"
