At the moment, there are 4 girls running throughout our bedroom.....(Riki,
Tiki, Lily, and Rose)
 
Seeing as how we have yet to wrap any gifts, and the bedroom if filled with
bags and boxes.....it is (obviously....) a Weasel Wonderland!
 
Earlier this week, we took 2 of our Sable boys (Chuckles and Jasper) out
in the snow......we only had a couple inches of fresh snow, and we thought
they'd stay in the path we'd shoveled in the driveway........only to be
proved wrong!  as Chuckles veered hard left onto the patio.....'tween the
garbage cans....'neath the grill.....under the A/C cover....around the
outdoor cage.....into the dark area not covered by the outside light.....
all without a leash/harness (because they were only going to play in the
path we'd shoveled across the driveway!.....yeah right!!!!) Of course both
of the 'human adults' were outfitted in bedroom slippers, and sandles.....
 
After my futile grab at Chuckles' furry butt, (and missing!) I grabbed
Jasper (who hadn't yet been allowed down) and ran indoors, where I
deposited him into his room, and threw on my boots.....and ran back
outside......to be greeted with footprints in the snow...vanishing into
the night.....
 
Footprints of a woman dressed in bedroom slippers...with 2 total knees (+
revisions) disappearing into the snowy dark.......
 
Around the patio (only footprints) .....around the back of the house (only
footprints) .....up the sideof the house, now heading South...I see her....
then Chuckles.....nose to the ground.....Heading.......wherever!!
 
Beneath the eves of the house.....he was going!  Little furry 'Nanook of
the North' he was on his way!
 
Deb said she called him, and that he had paused when he heard his name....
but, was hesitant to step into snow to get to her!.....so under the eves
he was going!!
 
He's gotten 'furry'.......had 'adrenal symptoms' earlier, but meds have
gotten him 'Fur-full'!
 
It's snowing again......but, I think we'll harness them up this time!!!!
