It's downright incredible how differently dog attacks are reacted to than
alleged "ferret attacks".

I was just reading WCCO news (Minnesota) online.

There's a little blurb about a 73 year old man who was walking down the
street and was attacked by a pack of 5 dogs. This attack left him with
more than 100 puncture wounds.

What happened to the dogs? They've been quarantined at their owner's home
for 10 days.

<sarcasm> Of course, 5 dogs attacking passerby are not nearly as dangerous
as a "vicious" pair of ferrets, so they will not be put to death. Maybe if
their owner had left them alone with a baby (while she slept) and they'd
scratched it, then we'd see a reaction. </sarcasm>

I bet this won't make the national news either.

Grumble . . .
