Hi, I get the digest and am behind in reading every e-mail posted. I'm
sorry your baby is so sick. Where do you live? If you live near a vet
school, sometimes they can be of great help since most vet schools have
the latest testing equipment available to diagnosis illness in our
companion animals.

I have rescued and nursed back to health many ferrets over the years. I
know how labor intensive it can be, not to mention the emotional toll it
takes on the caregiver. Feel free to e-mail me if you need a sounding
board; I've been there.

I can't help diagnosis your baby, but I can give you the phone numbers of
2 excellent vets who may be willing to talk to you, or consult with your
vet.

Best of luck,
Brian
