Sure, Alicia got the McKay and the Soren locations wrong (should be
Ohio and Denmark) BUT HER ADVICE ABOUT HOW TO SUCCEED WAS EXCELLENT.

There are a number of noisy but thoroughly ineffective approaches that
can be tried but not only do those tend to backfire but they also can
annoy people who might be needed as allies.

There are people whose JOBS are to stop animal abusers, and they have
the right connections and expertise. What they can do varies with
species, licenses present, to whom the animals are sold and how many
are, amounts of money earned from certain sectors (such as the pet
industry), state laws, etc. If there is an APHIS license in effect
(and with mink reported at the location there should be, I think)
then it pays to contact them. ASPCA also a has fine history of going
after animal abusers in conjunction with people who can document the
situations and the state humane authorities. To find the ***right***
state authorities and the state laws look in:
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=cruelty_home
 and
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=cruelty_investigate
(Select Ohio in that case and click on and read from other menus, too.)

Fighting Large is sometimes important, but Fighting Smart is always
important, esp. in states and fields which do not have the strictest
anti-cruelty regulations.

What Alicia provided was information on how to fight smart.
