My Mother has three Daschounds, one of them is going to have puppies soon,
and my mother insists that I keep one (a female). I love the idea but am a
little hessitant because I have two lovely ferrets (Clara and Mila), and
Daschounds were originaly breeded to hunt hedgehogs. My ferrets will be one
year old by the date the puppy arrives; Mila is regular sized and Clara is a
bit smaller. My mother's dogs (the puppie's parents) are actually miniature
daschunds (about the double of Mila's size) and quite peaceful. Would it be
safe? Is there someone outhere withe daschounds and ferrets that could tell
me their experiences.

Thanks for the advice,
